AudioNurd was started by me, Brent in 2022. I am a self taught “audio engineer” with a passion for music and audio in general. I started by running the transparency slide during my churches worship time when I was 10 years old. After many years I helped my church move into a more modern age with integrating PowerPoint into the worship service/slides.

After more time passed, I came across a small company in my ‘Church Productions’ magazine called ProPresenter and got connected with their software pretty close to day one. After some more time I took over running the audio mixer, well more like thrown into it.

Starting out I only knew how to move the faders up and down. Now I am a lot more fluent in mixing and realized that I want to go beyond where I am at. So as I’m learning new skills, I want to pass what I learn onto you. Please join me, especially if you’re new to audio mixing and livestreaming, and we can become the best we know we can be.

AudioNurd is a place where we hope to help beginners in the live audio and livestreaming areas of their church and personal life. We are self taught and learning things ourselves. Education is a never ending pursuit. We want to grow and expand all our skills in these fields. And we hope you will follow along with us and pick up new skills yourself.
